Kleopatra

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 2 months

In the life of the blind Cleopatra, there was pain and sorrow. She was found very sick and emaciated. She came to our foundation, Ja Pacze Sercem, unsure of herself, frightened, and afraid of an attack from every direction. What was her life like, if she expected only the worst? In addition, she suffered from a painful eye infection called "cat flu," as well as other ailments caused by the terrible conditions in which she tried to survive. She also had a fever, a long-lasting stomach upset, and various "boarders." Regaining her health and achieving such a look as she has now required real huge commitment and care from her temporary foster mother. Despite all these sufferings, Kleopatra retained a joyful character. Her fur grew back and it certainly distinguishes her. She became a beautiful kitten. But what is truly beautiful in her is not her appearance, but the broad love for people that flows through her, as wide as the Nile. Kleopatra loves humans and their company very much. Craving attention, she circles around your legs and loudly "chatters," demanding affection. She doesn't necessarily like to be picked up or enjoys overly intense cuddles. That's because she's very delicate and sensitive to touch. This is an important information for people who want to adopt her. Kleopatra has long fur, which needs to be regularly brushed so that mats don't form, and also trimmed or clipped under the tail to make it easier for the queen to clean herself. And all this has to be done despite her resistance. In this one aspect, she does not rule here. Kleopatra was born in 2024, is healthy, vaccinated, spayed, has a chip, and FIV/FELV tests are negative. She needs a home that doesn't go out with secured windows and balcony. As a queen, she can be the only cat in the house. But she will also be happy in the company of another calm cat. Give your home* to Cleopatra, and she will repay you with the most beautiful feline love!

Jej futro odrosło i ono z pewnością ją wyróżnia. I to wszytko trzeba robić pomimo jej sprzeciwów. Potrzebuje domu „niewychodzącego” z zabezpieczonymi oknami i balkonem.

About Kleopatra

What life with Kleopatra looks like

Kleopatra is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kleopatra, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kleopatra?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kleopatra on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kleopatra if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kleopatra already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kleopatra isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kleopatra and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
