This dog was found on 17.1.2026 in Rendějov (district of Kutná Hora). Knedlík was found on 17. 1. 2026 in Rendějov (district of Kutná Hora). Although we hoped someone would claim him, no one came to pick him up. It turned out his story is more complicated and in the end he was entrusted to our care, where he is now waiting for his new home. We don't know his exact age, but it is clear that Knedlík is a senior dog, estimated at around 10 years old. His appearance resembles a labrador - he is a nice, round, easygoing fellow. He loves food, and because it really tastes good, we are gradually working on his line and visible waistline. A new owner will thus gain not only a loyal partner, but also a role of a kind nutrition coach, so that Knedlík won't be double (= the owner must be careful not to overfeed him). Knedlík is calm, quiet, friendly and clean. He likes walks, usually ignores other dogs and walks nicely on a leash. From commands he knows "sit" - and honestly, for a happy senior life, this is more than enough. He handles manipulation and regular care without problems. He will feel best in a house with a garden with access inside, ideally without stairs. It seems suitable for older and reasonable children, or older people. The only thing to take into account is slippery surfaces - he has trouble getting up from them and are not suitable for his senior legs and back. His relationship with cats and poultry is unknown so far. He can find holes in the fence and has an idea of how doors can be opened - this needs to be watched. Knedlík is simply low-maintenance, grateful companion, who is looking for a quiet home and a person who will appreciate his kind and relaxed nature.

Tento pes byl nalezen 17.1.2026 v Řendějově (okr. Kutná Hora) Knedlík byl nalezen 17. 1. 2026 v Řendějově (okr. Kutná Hora). Přestože jsme doufali, že se o něj někdo přihlásí, nikdo si ho nevyzvedl. Ukázal se, že jeho příběh je zamotanější a ve výsledku byl svěřen do naší péče, kde nyní čeká na svůj nový domov. Přesný věk neznáme, ale je zřejmé, že Knedlík je psí senior, odhadem kolem 10 let. Svým vzhledem připomíná labradora – je to takový sympatický, kulatý pohodář. Jídlo miluje, a protože mu opravdu hodně chutná, postupně pracujeme na jeho linii a viditelném pasu. Nový majitel tak získá nejen věrného parťáka, ale i roli laskavého výživového kouče, aby z Knedlíka nebyl knedlík dvojitý (= majitel si musí dávat pozor, aby ho nepřekrmoval). Knedlík je klidný, tichý, milý a čistotný pes. Má rád procházky, cizích psů si většinou nevšímá a na vodítku chodí hezky. Z povelů ovládá „sedni“ – a upřímně, ke spokojenému seniorskému životu mu to bohatě stačí. Manipulaci i běžné ošetření zvládá bez problémů. Nejlépe se bude cítit v domě se zahradou s přístupem dovnitř, ideálně bez schodů. Jeví se jako vhodný ke starším a rozumným dětem, případně ke starším lidem. Jediné, na co je potřeba brát ohled, tak jsou kluzké povrchy – hůře se mu z nich vstává a nejsou vhodné pro jeho seniorské nohy a záda. Jeho vztah ke kočkám a drůbeži zatím neznáme. Umí si najít díry v plotě a má tušení o tom, jak by se dali otevřít dveře - na to je potřeba si dát pozor.
