Year of birth: 2017. The puppy arrived at our shelter on 30.10.2021. He was brought in by a staff member from the municipality of Niegosławice. KODI is a strong, energetic pup. Within the animal shelter, his relationship with other dogs is not the best, but the situation changes outside the shelter. On walks, he reacts fairly neutrally to other dogs and might accept another four-legged family member. He is initially unsure upon first contact, but a person must earn his trust. After getting to know him better, he can initiate cuddles and his joy at seeing his person knows no bounds. Once he has unloaded some of his emotions after leaving the shelter grounds, a walk with him is pure pleasure. He walks nicely on a leash, sniffs around a lot, and tracks scents. It is calm to take longer walks with him. He definitely needs a person with a gentle disposition who will dedicate a lot of time and love to him. We see improvement in Cody’s behavior. He allows more from volunteers he knows, but he still needs time to build trust with each individual person. KODI has the potential to be an ideal companion, but he requires time and patience.

Rok urodzenia: 2017 Piesek trafił do nas 30.10.2021. Został przywieziony przez pracownika schroniska z gminy Niegosławice. Kodi to pies silny, energiczny. Na terenie schroniska jego stosunek do innych psów nie jest najlepszy, ale sytuacja zmienia się poza schroniskiem. Na spacerze na inne psy reaguję dość neutralnie i możliwe, że zaakceptowałby innego członka rodziny na czterech łapach. Przy pierwszym kontakcie jest nieufny, na jego zaufanie człowiek musi sobie zasłużyć. Po bliższym poznaniu potrafi sam domagać się przytulasów, a jego radość na widok swojego człowieka nie ma końca. Po wyjściu z terenu schroniska jak już rozładuje trochę emocje, spacer z nim to czysta przyjemność. Bardzo ładnie chodzi na smyczy, dużo węszy, tropi. Spokojnie można sobie z nim pozwolić na dłuższe spacery. Z pewnością potrzebuje człowieka z łagodnym usposobieniem, który poświęci mu dużo czasu i da dużo miłości. Widzimy u Kodiego poprawę w zachowaniu. Na więcej pozwala wolontariuszom, których już zna, ale na pewno potrzebuje czasu na zapoznanie się i zaufanie każdemu jednemu człowiekowi. Kodi ma potencjał na psa idealnego, ale wymaga czasu i cierpliwości.
