Koker

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Koker is a sweet little pup—a tiny bundle of joy just waiting for his person. He’s an affectionate dog, a big cuddler, and a true fan of being petted. The closeness of a human brings him immense joy, and every moment spent stroking him is pure happiness for him. Although his first walk outside the shelter was a completely new experience, Koker handled it beautifully. He eagerly explored the world and cooperated wonderfully. He doesn’t pull on the leash and adjusts his pace nicely to match his caregiver’s, making walks with him truly enjoyable. Passing cars still make him a bit nervous, but it seems that with a little time and patience, he’ll quickly get used to them. He’s still somewhat cautious around other dogs. He needs calm, positive experiences to build up his confidence. Koker is looking for a home full of warmth, patience, and love. In return, he’ll give you his whole canine heart and become a loyal companion through thick and thin.

PL·Show original

Koker to cudny puszek-okruszek, który tylko czeka na swojego człowieka. To kochany psiak, wielki przytulas i prawdziwy fan miziania. Chętnie poznawał świat i pięknie współpracował. Do innych psów podchodzi jeszcze z pewną niepewnością. Potrzebuje spokojnych, pozytywnych doświadczeń, aby nabrać pewności siebie. Koker szuka domu pełnego ciepła, cierpliwości i miłości. W zamian odda całe swoje psie serce i stanie się wiernym towarzyszem na dobre i na złe.

About Koker

What life with Koker looks like

Koker is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Koker, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Koker?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Koker on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Koker if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Koker already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Koker isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku early rather than rehoming privately; they know Koker and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
