About KOKO († 22. Februar 2025)

We've known Koko since April 2023. On February 20, they wrote to us: “Today we found Koko with respiratory problems. She can't eat either. We suspect that she's got a diaphragm break. We took her home to investigate her. We spoke to the veterinarian in Athens and believe that an X-ray picture would be useful.” Since the veterinarian on Andros has no possibilities for it, Koko was brought to Athens on 21 February 2025. But on February 22, we received this sad message: “Koko died. She was roasted and her blood was examined. She had a lot of fluid in the lungs and increased leukocytes. We found them too late and are very sad. She was fine three days ago. She always eaten outside our cathouse. The most likely is a severe infection. However, it could also be an injury to the chest that caused the liquid in its lungs.” We have known Koko since April 2023. She was neutered with our support and has lived with our Greek friends H. & I since then. On February 20th they wrote to us: “Today we found Koko with breathing problems. She can't eat either. We suspect she has a diaphragmatic hernia. We took her home to examine her more closely. We to talk the vet in Athens and think that an x-ray would be useful.” Since the vet on Andros has no means to do so, Koko was brought to Athens on February 21, 2025. But on February 22, we received this sad news: “Koko died. She had x-ray and blood analysis. She had a lot of liquid in her lungs and increased WBC. We found her too late and we are very sad. Three days ago she was fine. She used to eat outside of our cathouse. Most possible is a severe infection. But so it could be an injury on the thorax that caused the liquid

We have known Koko since April 2023. She was neutered with our support and has lived with our Greek friends H. & I since then. On February 20th they wrote to us: „Today we found Koko with breathing problems. She can't eat either.
