For Koren, this is not his first stay at the animal shelter. Five years ago, he also waited there for a home. Unfortunately, the 9-year-old Koren was returned after five years. The official reason for the return was difficult behavior towards a child. Was Koren properly accustomed to the presence of the youngest family member? Did the caregivers appropriately explain to the child how to behave towards the cat? It's hard for us to say because we received no information about the methods used during the attempts to resolve this issue :( Koren is a friendly cat who likes pats. However, he can strongly mark his boundaries. It is evident that returning to the animal shelter after several years spent in a home is a shock for him. We are very respectfully asking for a home for Koren that will care for him responsibly. Koren wants to be loved and understood. He will best find himself by the side of people who understand his needs, boundaries, and body language. We invite you to review the pre-adoption questionnaire and come to the animal shelter with an already completed questionnaire: Before adoption, make sure your home/apartment is safe and properly prepared to welcome a new family member. Attention: When deciding to adopt a cat or considering it, please bring a carrier or transport bag to the animal shelter for transporting cats.

Dla Korena nie jest to pierwszy pobyt w schronisku. Pięć lat temu również czekał w nim na dom. Niestety, 9-letni już Koren po pięciu latach został zwrócony. Oficjalnym powodem zwrotu były trudne zachowania wobec dziecka. Czy Koren był w odpowiedni sposób przyzwyczajany do obecności najmłodszego członka rodziny? Czy opiekunowie w odpowiedni sposób tłumaczyli dziecku w jaki sposób powinno obchodzić się z kotem? Trudno nam powiedzieć, bo nie dostaliśmy żadnych informacji o metodach pracy podczas prób rozwiązywania tego problemu :( Koren to kontaktowy kot, który lubi głaski. Jednak potrafi mocno zaznaczyć swoje granice. Widać, że powrót do schroniska po tych kilku latach spędzonych w domu jest dla niego szokiem. Bardzo prosimy o dom dla Korena, który zaopiekuje się nim, z pełną odpowiedzialnością. Koren chce być kochany i zrozumiany. Najlepiej odnajdzie się u boku ludzi, którzy zrozumieją jego potrzeby, granice oraz mowę ciała.
