Kronos

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Kronos is a beautiful larger-sized Labrador. He was born around 2020, so he has many years ahead of him. He is a calm and dignified dog, as well as very friendly, positive, and quickly attaches to people. Kronos is definitely an opportunity for Labrador lovers - a beautiful, friendly dog, eager and ready to learn new commands. Kronos likes spending time in water and although he is not a swimmer, he gladly runs in a stream and "kicks" in the water. He is a very energetic dog and needs a lot of activity. He is excellent for running together with a person, and during such training, he adjusts to the pace of the caregiver. He is not interested in chasing toys, he definitely prefers spending time running after another dog or in the company of a person. He has been in the shelter since April 2025. He is currently ready for adoption - neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

PL·Show original

Kronos to przepiękny większy pies (ok. 30 kg) w typie labradora. Kronos lubi spędzać czas w wodzie i choć żaden z niego pływak, to z wielką chęcią biega w strumyku i “kopie” w wodzie.

About Kronos

What life with Kronos looks like

Kronos is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kronos, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kronos?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kronos on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kronos if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kronos already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kronos isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kronos and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
