adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process KrÜMel has found his people! His story: Are you wishing for a beautiful and loving puppy by your side? Then you're in the right place, because in the shelter in Baia Mare, a whole litter of puppies is waiting to leave Romania as soon as possible and begin a new, better life. The eight beautiful siblings – KrÜMel, Lino, Kalani, Blinky, Elany, Benni, Cody, and Jack – live together in a private foster home in Baia Mare. They were rescued from the street at an age of 4 to 5 days old without their mother. Fortunately, another female dog found them and took them in, raising them with love. Now they urgently need support as they start their new life, because they are threatened with being moved to the public shelter and they should not grow up in noise, dirt, and behind bars. Therefore, we have vowed not to rest until we know the puppies are in safety and have found a place with loving people who will care for and love them and show them how beautiful life as a family dog can be. The handsome KrÜMel is exactly like his siblings, a little fighter, otherwise he wouldn't have made it to a lively, healthy puppy under such difficult starting conditions. He is friendly and open-minded and a playful, little male dog. He loves playing with his siblings. The little KrÜMel has short, white fur with light gray patches and a very charming, modest eye expression. From black, shiny round eyes, he looks hopefully into his future. The little puppy is only two to three months old and will likely develop into a sporty and elegant, medium-sized dog. Hopefully, KrÜMel will quickly settle into his new home, although of course he has no experience with life as a house dog and knows little about house training and leash manners. But KrÜMel is an intelligent, little male dog who looks forward to the future with openness and confidence. With lots of love, understanding, and positive reinforcement, he will learn the puppy 1×1 class quickly. After the adjustment period, the pretty puppy will be happy to visit a positively working dog training class. In a few months, KrÜMel will then enter puberty, which may upset everything he has learned so far. But with a loving and consistent upbringing by his adopters, the little puppy will emerge from this phase as a well-mannered and self-assured young male dog and surely bring a lot of joy to his new family. We now wish for loving and active people who will take KrÜMel in with love and patience, offering him a family connection, a warm dog bed, beautiful walks, and – very important for a puppy – enough contact with fellow animals. We would also be very happy to have a foster home for the little puppy. Do you want to explain the world to KrÜMel? Then contact us. After a positive match, our thanks go to the namesake Anna, who gave our sweet KrÜMel his name! Date: 03.07. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Stand: 03.07.2025

About KrÜMel

What life with KrÜMel looks like

KrÜMel is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting KrÜMel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about KrÜMel?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw KrÜMel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt KrÜMel if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is KrÜMel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if KrÜMel isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know KrÜMel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
