Kuma – a loyal companion seeks a loving forever home for his golden years Kuma is a 13-year-old Shepherd mix who has spent his entire life with his owner. With a heavy heart, his owner had to part with him due to a serious mental illness, as he was no longer able to care for Kuma. Despite his advanced age, Kuma still brings a great deal of joy to life. He is a calm, balanced, and very people-oriented dog who enjoys being close to his trusted humans and delights in every moment spent together. He is friendly and tolerant with other dogs. Kuma has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. For his age, he is in a pleasingly good general condition, and his organ values are unremarkable. However, osteoarthritis, which is common for his age and breed, was diagnosed. With well-managed pain therapy, Kuma copes very well and continues to enjoy his walks and short outings with visible pleasure. For Kuma, we wish for a quiet home where he can spend his golden years in security. He is looking for people who do not want to change him, but simply want to give him the love, care, and safety that every senior dog deserves. A soft bed, relaxed walks, affectionate attention, and the feeling of finally arriving once more, completely – Kuma needs nothing more to be happy. Those who give an older dog a chance often experience something truly special. Kuma still has a great deal of love to give, and he would be delighted to spend his final chapter not in a foster placement, but in a home of his own.

Kuma – ein treuer Begleiter sucht einen liebevollen Gnadenplatz für seinen Lebensabend Kuma ist ein 13 Jahre alter Schäferhund-Mischling, der sein gesamtes Leben bei seinem Halter verbracht hat. Schweren Herzens musste dieser sich aufgrund einer schweren psychischen Erkrankung von ihm trennen, da er sich nicht länger um Kuma kümmern konnte. Trotz seines hohen Alters bringt Kuma noch viel Lebensfreude mit. Er ist ein ruhiger, ausgeglichener und sehr menschenbezogener Hund, der die Nähe seiner Bezugspersonen genießt und sich über jede gemeinsame Zeit freut. Mit anderen Hunden zeigt er sich freundlich und verträglich. Medizinisch wurde Kuma umfassend untersucht. Er befindet sich für sein Alter in einem erfreulich guten Allgemeinzustand und seine Organwerte sind unauffällig. Alters- und rassebedingt wurde jedoch eine Arthrose festgestellt. Mit einer gut eingestellten Schmerztherapie kommt Kuma damit sehr gut zurecht und genießt seine Spaziergänge und kleinen Ausflüge weiterhin mit sichtbarer Freude. Für Kuma wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges Zuhause, in dem er seinen Lebensabend in Geborgenheit verbringen darf. Menschen, die ihn nicht mehr verändern möchten, sondern ihm einfach die Liebe, Fürsorge und Sicherheit schenken, die jeder alte Hund verdient. Ein weiches Körbchen, entspannte Spaziergänge, liebevolle Zuwendung und das Gefühl, noch einmal ganz anzukommen – mehr braucht Kuma nicht, um glücklich zu sein. Wer einem alten Hund die Chance gibt, erlebt oft etwas ganz Besonderes. Kuma hat noch viel Liebe zu verschenken und würde sich freuen, seinen letzten Lebensabschnitt nicht auf einer Pflegestelle, sondern in einem eigenen Zuhause verbringen zu dürfen.
