Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 8 years

Life after the laboratory After spending several years in a laboratory or research units, these animals now experience the warmth of a home and enjoy a family retirement through GRAAL. Today, discover the story of GABIN, a beagle adopted by Barbara and Fabrice. After more than 8 years in a laboratory, GABIN was lucky enough to be offered for adoption in 2015 by GRAAL along with three of his companions from the same research unit. Barbara and Fabrice remember his arrival with emotion: "We adopted GABIN on December 22, 2015. His arrival was a beautiful Christmas gift for all of us. He joined LILI, an 11-year-old beagle rehabilitated from a laboratory eight years ago, and our cats NOUGATINE and NELSON." Despite his age, GABIN quickly adapted to his new home. Although he is still a bit shy around unfamiliar faces, GABIN is very sensitive and needs cuddles and affection! He now forms a very loving couple with LILI. LILI has also made great progress with GABIN's company and even lost weight! Did you know, these adorable beagles are real foodies... "We are very happy to have him with us and to see him continue to flourish, offering us regular moments of laughter, an infinite sharing of affection and joy of living." Your photos, your testimonies, your support give us even more determination every day to continue our fight. Every support, every donation and every membership is a stone in the building! Today, many animals are still waiting for placement. We need your support to rehabilitate hundreds of cats, dogs, horses, primates, and rodents each year! Together, let's offer a new life to laboratory animals! Association GRAAL - Recognized as a public utility organization
