Vorgeschichte / previous history: WEACT received a video report in June 2021, which clearly showed a blatant violation of animal protection laws: a person hanging a live dog and brutally murdering it by setting it on fire with a torch. WEACT arrived at the scene early the next day, but the dog in the video had already been slaughtered. The remaining dogs on the scene were trapped in cages, forced to watch in horror as their friend met a tragic death in a blazing cauldron after cruel torture. WEACT rescued the nine surviving dogs who had lived in fear, reported the perpetrator for violating animal protection laws, resulting in a fine, and secured a commitment from the local government office to dismantle the illegal facility that operated as a slaughterhouse. However, in 2023, there was a report that there was another dog in the slaughterhouse. WEACT went back to the site and rescued Lady from there. Charakterbeschreibung / character description: With People: Lady loves people and gets excited to greet them! She is even okay with touches from unfamiliar people. She is also okay with children petting her. With Dogs: Lady is such an energy ball that she loves being around others who can match her enthusiasm! She’s especially drawn to dog friends who are just as full of energy or ready to play. But when she meets younger pups or older dogs, she knows to take it easy. She’ll calmly sniff around and approach them with a little more care, showing her gentler side. However, she is not a fan of dogs who are illmannered or who are overly energetic.
