Lajosmizse Lantos

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

A call for help came from Lajosmizse, where an elderly farmer had passed away and a mother dog and her 6 puppies (2 females and 4 males) were left without care. A neighbor came by to feed them, but a permanent solution was needed. Our bustling Lajosmizse family includes mixed-breed puppies born around 2024, who are expected to strengthen the camp of large dogs, since their mother is also a large dog. For now they are still timidly getting acquainted with the big world, but they clearly seem to enjoy it. We would like the new family to have active members who will care for them as family members for the rest of their lives. Since Lantos is a shy dog, getting to know him requires more time and patience. It is especially important to him that he can approach and build trust with his future owners at his own pace, gradually. To inquire about him and book a personal meeting, call our phone number 06 30 221 1299, Monday through Saturday between 10 and 15 hours, or see more photos HERE! A népes Lajosmizse családunk kb. 2024. születésű keverék kiskutyák akik várhatóan a nagytestű kutyák táborát fogják erősíteni, hiszen mamájuk is nagytestű. About Lajosmizse Lantos

What life with Lajosmizse Lantos looks like

Lajosmizse Lantos is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

A young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lajosmizse Lantos, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lajosmizse Lantos?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lajosmizse Lantos on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lajosmizse Lantos if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Lajosmizse Lantos already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lajosmizse Lantos isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lajosmizse Lantos and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
