Lakis werd in de zomer van 2019 buiten het huis van een kattendame gevonden. Hij werd daar achtergelaten met zijn broers, zussen en moeder. De vrijwilligster nam het gezin in huis, omdat ze wist dat ze op straat niet zouden kunnen overleven. De moeder van Lakis had het heel goed gedaan met haar kittens. Ze had haar kittens beschermd en ze waren allemaal erg vriendelijk tegen mensen. Ze waren ook erg schoon en gezond. Lakis is een erg actieve jongen vol energie. Lakis rent de hele dag in het gastgezin. Lakis kan soms erg dominant zijn ten opzichte van de andere katten in het gastgezin, of zelfs tegenover zijn broers en/of zussen. Om die reden is het beter om Lakis als enige kat in een huisje te plaatsen, of samen met één van zijn broers of zussen of vrienden. Lakis is gecastreerd. Lakis is gevaccineerd. Lakis is negatief getest voor FIV en FeLV. Update Augustus 2026: Lakis is een knappe kat met een prachtige oranje-witte vacht. Hij is natuurlijk niet meer zo actief als vroeger, maar hij is altijd vrolijk en klaar voor eten. Hij is erg vriendelijk met de katten waarmee hij samenwoont, maar hij houdt helemaal niet van katten die hij niet kent. Hij kan dus geadopteerd worden als enige kat in huis, of samen met een van zijn vrienden, vooral met zijn broer Danny.
