Adopt LAKOTA 1667

Male

Lakota – out of fear into love 🖤🤍 On February 7, 2025, Lakota was rescued from Ilfov county and brought to Ringo Land Romania. At first, he was a scared shadow, a soul that trembled at every approach, deeply marked by the hard experiences lived on the street. People frightened him. He didn't know that they could also bring good. With his warm coat, in an fascinating mix of white and black, Lakota hid behind his gaze a good heart, which only needed time, patience and love to open up. He was included in the emotional rehabilitation and training program carried out by Dog Rehabilitation Centre, under the guidance of No Limit Pets Association. Here, he learned that leash does not mean chain, but guided freedom. That the hand of a human can caress, not just scare. That the cats and other dogs can be friends, not dangers. Step by step, he became a playful, social, confident dog - perfectly ready for adoption. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the sponsors who supported him at every stage of his journey - thanks to you, Lakota never lacked anything. He received food, shelter, treatments and, above all, a new chance at life. 🙏 Lakota is now ready to love. Ready to be loved. Ready to start a real life with the family that will accept him exactly as he is: a healed, gentle, loyal and affectionate soul.

About LAKOTA 1667

What life with LAKOTA 1667 looks like

LAKOTA 1667 is a medium-sized adult dog waiting at No Limit Pets in Romania.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting LAKOTA 1667, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about LAKOTA 1667?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. No Limit Pets handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw LAKOTA 1667 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt LAKOTA 1667 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — No Limit Pets will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is LAKOTA 1667 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if LAKOTA 1667 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with No Limit Pets early rather than rehoming privately; they know LAKOTA 1667 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (RO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
