The sweet senior cat Lakrits Maja had a home before, but somehow ended up on the road. She stayed with a family for a while, but when it was discovered that Lakrits Maja is an elderly lady who is about ten years older than first thought, plans changed. It was obvious to us that this fine lady should come to the cat shelter instead of her life ending prematurely. Lakrits Maja is a soft, rare, and very sweet little lady. She can be a bit reserved at first, but her curiosity takes over quickly once she senses that you want her well. During her time on the road, Lakrits Maja showed that she works out perfectly well with other animals. She seemed to have no problems with dogs, and she got along very well with the other cats. Den söta seniortjejen Lakrits-Maja har haft ett hem tidigare, men kommit på villovägar på något sätt. Hon dök till slut upp hos en familj där hon uppehöll sig under en tid. Familjen undersökte möjligheten att behålla henne, men när det visade sig att Lakrits-Maja är en mogen dam som bedöms vara drygt tio år äldre än man först trott, ändrades planerna. För oss var det självklart att denna fina tjej skulle få komma till katthemmet istället för att hennes liv skulle behöva avslutas i förtid. Lakrits-Maja är en mjuk, rar och väldigt snäll liten tjej. Hon kan vara en smula avvaktande i början, men hennes nyfikenhet tar snabbt överhanden så fort hon märker att man vill henne väl. Under sin tid på vift visade Lakrits-Maja att hon fungerar alldeles utmärkt med andra djur. Hon verkade inte ha några som helst problem med hundar, och hon kom väldigt bra överens med de andra katterna. Lakrits-Maja önskar sig nu ett tryggt föralltid-hem där hon gärna får dela tillvaron med en snäll kattkompis och leva livets glada pensionärsdagar i lugn och ro.
