Laky je desetiletá, kastrovaná velmi milá kočička, kterou její majitelé týrali celých sedm let ve venkovní kleci o rozměrech 1.5x1m. Kočička byla považována majiteli za kocourka. Poté co utekla, zabřezla a po nějaké době porodila mrtvé kotě. Od té doby tu naříkala každý den a zoufale se dobývala z klece. Upozornili na ni její sousedé, kterým nebyl její osud lhostejný. Kočičku jsme doslova zachránili před smrtí, Její nářek nebyl jen ze stesku po svobodě, ale také díky tomu, že měla zánět dělohy, který ji málem stál život. Laky ale přežila a dělá nám radost tím, jak přibírá na váze a stává se i z ní dříve zoufalé kočičky veselá společnice. Zasloužila by si nový domov u starších lidí, kterým by nevadil její věk, vždyť tu může dělat někomu radost ještě dalších několik let.
