Het verhaal van Lambis: Lambis is hét voorbeeld van een geweldige rescuehond. Hij is als pup gevonden en opgenomen bij een topgastgezin van Zakynthos Animal Welfare Fund (ZAWF). Zij is gedragstrainer en heeft Lambis al veel dingen kunnen leren. Hij verblijft in een sheltersituatie waar zij de verzorger is dus zij ziet hem elke dag. We weten zeker dat je dan verliefd wordt. Lambis is geboren rond augustus 2024. Zodra er een gastgezin of adoptant voor hem is gevonden, kan hij naar Nederland komen Lambis betekent schitterend/stralend. En schitteren doet hij, deze jongen. Lambis is een prachtige hond om te zien en zit vol levenslust. Theodora, zijn rescuer en verzorger in de shelter waar Lambis inmiddels verblijft, is gedragstrainer. Lambis vindt het fijn met haar aan het ‘werk te zijn' (zie filmpje). Lambis heeft al een aantal basisdingen geleerd en hij is lief naar mens en dier. Toen hij mee ging naar de stad, waar een event was om zwerfdieren te promoten, had hij veel bekijks. En, niet onbelangrijk, hij deed het daar prima. Lambis is zo'n rescuehond waarvan we geen grote problemen verwachten als hij eenmaal hier is. Toch zal ook hij de tijd moeten krijgen om te wennen aan een ander leven. Daarom zoeken bij adoptanten die genoeg tijd en aandacht voor hem hebben en die in een huis met fijne afgesloten tuin wonen. Lambis is inmiddels 2 jaar en hij is helemaal klaar voor de volgende stap. Zijn forever home. Zodra er iemand voor hem is gevonden, kan hij naar Nederland reizen. Lambis opvangen met optie op adoptie, is eventueel ook mogelijk.
