When I first had Lanas pictures on my monitor, I was really impressed. Rarely I have seen such a beautiful female – the fur that falls over the entire body in perfect hairshaft, the red nose, the beautiful green eyes that can look people right up to the soul. And then I read that Lana was in a garbage container when an animal friend discovered her. Undoubtedly, the picture-hoebic girl sought to eat something, and once again the question arises, how does such a dreamlike quadruple come into such an environment? What is wrong with the people who get rid of their often long-standing pets by simply banging them on the streets? Well, fortunately Lana was discovered, and cleverly as our new access is, she immediately followed the call of her savior and could be interrogated without any questions and problems in the car to start towards Arca Sevilla and, of course, also towards new life. Lana is only about a year old (as of 08/2021), but is already impressed by her wonderful being. It is balanced and attentive, tender and contact-loving, but at the same time a playful and curious young dog, who is happy to see the wild hunt opened in the run-out. You don't have to be a big connoisseur to see that Lana has a lot of Podenco blood in her veins, but please don't let the adventure Podenco stop, just because so many urban legends are about this race. It is true that the Podenco is a lauffy hunting dog and it can take a long time until a representative of this breed can be left unobstructed by the leash, but that is not a problem that only meets the Podenco (at times it depends on the character of the individual dog) and there are enough other ways to give the Podenco sufficient movement. Dog sports, tobs in the garden, also cycling, jogging and many others are excellent alternatives. On the pro-account of the pfiffigen Spaniards there are many points that are far more interesting. Apart from the fact that the Podencos are brilliant and playful family dogs, the Podenco in the house is usually an extremely quiet and balanced contemporary. He doesn't tend to hit or protect him, he moves almost silently and enjoys string units over everything. As a sovereign working dog, most bats also learn very quickly how to stay alone without having to embellish the apartment equipment before boredom or to provide the family shoes with additional air holes. Our impressively beautiful photo model Lana can hardly wait to find out who she can soon enchant with her most charming smile, where she can buddle to mice and into which corner her basket is placed (where she will then walk past her to her new best friends on the couch). Als ich Lanas Bilder zum ersten Mal auf meinem Monitor hatte, war ich wirklich beeindruckt. Selten habe ich so eine schöne Hündin gesehen – das Fell, das in perfekter Fönwelle über den gesamten Körper fällt, die knallrote Nase, die wunderschönen grünen Augen, die den Menschen direkt bis in die Seele schauen können. Und dann las ich, dass Lana in einem Müllcontainer stand, als eine Tierfreundin sie entdeckte. Verzweifelte suchte das bildhübsche Mädchen etwas zu fressen, und wieder einmal stellt sich die Frage, wie kommt so ein traumhafter Vierbeiner in eine solche Umgebung? Was stimmt mit den Leuten nicht, die sich ihrer oft jahrelang treuen Haustiere entledigen, indem sie sie einfach auf die Straße verbannen? Nun, zum Glück wurde Lana entdeckt, und schlau, wie unser Neuzugang ist, ist sie dem Rufen ihrer Retterin sofort gefolgt und ließ sich ohne Fragen und Probleme ins Auto verfrachten, um in Richtung Arca Sevilla und natürlich auch in Richtung neues Leben zu starten. Lana ist erst ungefähr ein Jahr alt (Stand 08/2021), beeindruckt aber schon jetzt durch ihr wundervolles Wesen. Sie ist ausgeglichen und aufmerksam, zärtlich und kontaktfreudig, aber gleichzeitig noch ein verspielter und neugieriger Junghund, der sich freut, wenn die wilde Jagd im Auslauf eröffnet wird. Man muss kein großer Kenner sein, um zu sehen, dass Lana viel Podenco-Blut in ihren Adern hat, aber bitte lassen Sie sich nicht vom Abenteuer Podenco abhalten, nur weil sich so viele urbane Legenden um diese Rasse ranken. Es stimmt, der Podenco ist ein lauffreudiger Jagdhund und es kann lange dauern, bis ein Vertreter dieser Rasse unbesorgt von der Leine gelassen werden kann, aber das ist kein Problem, das nur die Podencos trifft (zumal es wie bei jeder Rasse auch vom Charakter des einzelnen Hundes abhängt) und es gibt genug andere Möglichkeiten, dem Podenco ausreichend Bewegung zu verschaffen. Hundesport, Toben im Garten, auch das Laufen am Fahrrad, Joggen und vieles andere sind hervorragende Alternativen. Auf dem Pro-Konto der pfiffigen Spanier finden sich hingegen viele Punkte, die weitaus interessanter sind. Abgesehen davon, dass es sich bei den Podencos um geniale und verspielte Familienhunde handelt, ist der Podenco im Haus meist ein überaus ruhiger und ausgeglichener Zeitgenosse. Er neigt weder zum Kläffen noch zum übermäßigen Beschützen, er bewegt sich fast lautlos und genießt Streicheleinheiten über alles. Als souveräner Arbeitshund lernen die meisten Fledermausohren auch sehr schnell, wie man problemlos alleine bleibt, ohne vor Langeweile die Wohnungseinrichtung zu verschönern oder die Schuhe der Familie mit zusätzlichen Luftlöchern zu versehen. Unser beeindruckend schönes Fotomodell Lana kann es kaum erwarten, zu erfahren, wen sie bald mit ihrem charmantesten Lächeln verzaubern darf, wo sie nach Mäuschen buddeln kann und in welche Ecke ihr Körbchen gestellt wird (an dem sie dann immer damenhaft vorbeischreiten wird, bevor sie sich zu ihren neuen besten Freunden auf die Couch legt).
