LAOS

American Bully · Male · Senior · 11 years

Laos is an American Bully who came from the pound. We don't know his past. Laos is a very friendly old man with humans! He would love to spend afternoons cuddling and basking in the sun but is also up for short walks. Laos is not very comfortable with solitude, but he can handle a few hours. He can live in a house or apartment, but should avoid too many stairs. Laos can live with respectful children. We don't know his compatibility with other dogs or cats, but tests can be done at the shelter. He is in SOS status due to his age.

About LAOS

What life with LAOS looks like

LAOS is a medium-sized senior american bully cat waiting at Gerhard Cramer) in Arry.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

Note from the shelter: Does not tolerate solitude well, needs to avoid too many stairs due to age

🇫🇷Adopting from France

Frequently asked

Adopting LAOS, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about LAOS?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Gerhard Cramer) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw LAOS on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt LAOS if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Gerhard Cramer) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is LAOS already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if LAOS isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Gerhard Cramer) early rather than rehoming privately; they know LAOS and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
