A wild stray female was caught in Pozzo San Nicola to be spayed. She was in heat, and upon arriving at the clinic, she went into labor and gave birth to four kittens. So, Paola took the young family back home. The kittens became very ill shortly after birth but then recovered. However, all of them retained mild eye problems. Two of the kittens found homes in northern Italy, while the other two—tomcat Lauro and Lucio—stayed with Paola. The mother was spayed and returned to her colony spot, as she remained wild and not easily approachable. Lauro and Lucio are quite open and curious. Like all young cats, they love to play and are very active. The brothers now want to move into their own beautiful home. January 31, 2026 Lauro arrived at his German foster home together with brother Lucio. On February 9, 2026, Lauro and Lucio were adopted from their foster home. Unfortunately, we are now asked to find a new home for the two tomcats due to personal reasons. Lauro and Lucio are very loving, lively, and playful. Lucio is a real snuggle cat, while Lauro is more oriented towards his brother but is more reserved with strangers. Both are very attached to each other and will therefore only be placed together. If you would like to take Lauro and Lucio into your family, we look forward to your message. The brothers can only be rehomed in homes suitable for apartment living. A secured balcony or a secured terrace would be greatly appreciated by the two.

Eine wilde Streunerin wurde in Pozzo San Nicola eingefangen, um sie kastrieren zu lassen. Sie war hochträchtig, und als sie in der Klinik ankam, setzte die Geburt ein, und sie brachte vier Babys zur Welt. Also nahm Paola die junge Familie wieder mit nach Hause. Die Babys wurden alle schon wenige Tage nach der Geburt sehr krank, erholten sich dann aber wieder. Jedoch behielten alle leichte Augenprobleme zurück. Zwei der Katzenkinder fanden bereits in Nord-Italien ein Zuhause, die anderen beiden - die Katerchen Lauro und Lucio - blieben bei Paola. Die Mama wurde kastriert und wieder zu ihrem Kolonieplatz zurückgebracht, da sie nach wie vor wild und nicht zugänglich war. Lauro und Lucio sind recht aufgeschlossen und neugierig. Wie alle jungen Katzen spielen sie gern und ausdauernd. Die Brüder möchten jetzt in ein schönes eigenes Zuhause umziehen. 31. Januar 2026Lauro ist gemeinsam mit Bruder Lucio in seiner deutschen Pflegestelle angekommen. Am 09. Februar 2026 wurden Lauro und Lucio von ihrer Pflegestelle adoptiert. Leider bat man uns jetzt aus persönlichen Gründen, ein neues Zuhause für die beiden Kater zu finden. Lauro und Lucio sind sehr lieb, lebenslustig und verspielt. Lucio ist ein echter Schmusekater, Lauro orientiert sich stark an seinem Bruder, ist jedoch vor allem bei fremden Menschen zurückhaltender. Beide hängen sehr aneinander und werden deshalb nur gemeinsam vergeben. Wenn Sie Lauro und Lucio in Ihre Familie aufnehmen möchten, freuen wir uns über Ihre Nachricht. Die Brüder werden nur in Wohnungshaltung vermittelt. Über einen gesicherten Balkon oder eine gesicherte Terrasse würden sich die beiden sehr freuen.
