Layana (wohnt noch im aktuellen Zuhause)

Layana was originally brought to the shelter as a stray animal. Unfortunately, we lack any information about her background. We were able to place her in a new home in 2024, but she recently lost her friend and her owner wants to end their relationship. Therefore, Layana is looking for a new home with a neutered rabbit. Until then, she will remain in her current home. Layana likes to explore the entire apartment including the balcony and is always curious and open to new adventures. After exploring, she seeks relaxation, preferably on the house or even the windowsill. She is accustomed to green food in the form of various salads, herbs, cabbage and other vegetables as well as fruits and tolerates them very well. When the food bowl is empty, she likes to nudge it with her nose to politely point out that it needs refilling. Unfortunately, over time, small dental problems have developed, currently requiring minor corrections (grinding) every 8-10 weeks. This procedure works very well, even though the lady is a bit grumpy for the following 1 or 2 days. The contact with humans in the form of cuddling is not directly sought. However, she accepts small strokes and treats from her hand and likes to lie down next to the workstation during home office for company. Individual furnishings (house, tunnel, bowls, carpet) can be taken over from the current home if needed. Layana kam ursprünglich als Fundtier ins Tierheim. Demnach fehlen uns leider sämtliche Informationen über seine Vorgeschichte. Wir konnten sie 2024 in ein neues Zuhause vermitteln, doch leider hat sie vor kurzem ihre Freundin verloren und man möchte die Haltung nun beenden. Demnach sucht Layana ein neues Zuhause bei einem Kaninchenkastraten. Bis dahin bleibt sie in ihrem aktuellen Zuhause. Layana macht gerne die ganze Wohnung inklusive Balkon unsicher und ist stets neugierig und aufgeschlossen gegenüber neuen Abenteuern. Nach den Erkundungstouren sucht sie zeitgleich die Entspannung, am liebsten auf dem Haus oder gar der Fensterbank. Sie ist Grünfutter in Form von verschiedenen Salaten, Kräutern, Kohl- und anderen Gemüse- sowie Obstsorten gewöhnt und verträgt diese auch sehr gut. Wenn die Futterschale leer ist, stupst sie gerne mit der Nase an um freundlich darauf hinzuweisen. Über die Zeit haben sich leider kleine Zahnbeschwerden eingestellt, aktuell müssen alle 8-10 Wochen kleine Korrekturen (Abschleifen) vorgenommen werden. Mit diesem Prozedere funktioniert es sehr gut, auch wenn die Dame die folgenden 1 oder 2 Tage etwas stinkig ist. Der Kontakt zum Menschen in Form von Kuscheleinheiten wird nicht direkt gesucht. Kleine Streicheleinheiten und Leckereien aus der Hand werden jedoch gut angenommen und sie legt sich gerne während des Homeoffices neben den Arbeitsplatz für Gesellschaft. Einzelne Einrichtungsgegenstände (Häuschen, Tunnel, Schalen, Teppich) können bei Bedarf aus dem aktuellen Zuhause übernommen werden.
