Dog friendly: No Character Leia is a very nice 9-year-old mixed breed husky with beautiful blue eyes. She doesn't look her age and is still very energetic. Léia is absolutely not at all ok with cats. She is currently in a foster home with 4 other border collies (even though she has never been around other dogs) and the relationship is rather good despite a rivalry with one of the dogs that is quite dominant with a heavy past. She needs daily exercise and loves walks in the forest with or without another animal of the same species. She is a very affectionate dog who also likes to sit with you on the couch (if allowed), otherwise she lies down at your feet. She travels very well in a carrier in the car and gets into the car happily. Leia gets along well with her human and does not try to escape at all. It will be necessary to retrain her with basic commands (already learned) but she understands very quickly what is asked of her. She can be left alone without destroying things as long as there is another dog with her. Alone, loneliness will be an issue to work on. The best for her would be to live with another non-dominant dog as she only wants to play. History Leia belonged to an elderly person who unfortunately had to be hospitalized and will not return. She went through some difficult times of solitude but has no lasting effects. She is a confident dog, slightly dominant. Desired home Our kind Leia needs to find a present and active home, without cats, because despite her 9 years she has an overflowing energy. A more submissive dog would be perfect for her. Entente autre: Non CaractèreLeia est une très gentille chienne de 9 ans croisée husky avec de beaux yeux bleus. Elle ne fait pas son âge et est encore très dynamique. Léïa n'es pas du tout mais alors pas du tout ok chat. Elle est actuellement en famille d accueil avec 4 autres border collies (alors qu elle n avait jamais cotoyé d autres chiens) et l entente est plutôt bonne malgré une rivalité avec une des chiennes plutôt dominante avec un lourd passé. Elle a besoin de dépenses quotidiennes et adore les promenades en forêt avec ou sans congénère. C est une chienne très câline qui aime aussi se poser avec vous sur le canapé ( si c est autorisé) sinon elle se couche aux pieds. Elle voyage très bien en voiture dans une caisse de transport et monte en voiture avec plaisir. Leia est bien avec son humain et ne cherche absolument pas à fuguer. Il faudra reprendre avec elle les ordres de base (rappel acquis) mais elle comprend très vite ce qu on lui demande. Elle sait rester seule sans détruire avec un autre copain chien avec elle. Seule, la solitude sera un point à travailler. Le top pour elle serait de partager sa vie avec un autre chien non dominant car elle ne demande qu à jouer. HistoireLeia appartenait à une personne âgée qui a malheureusement dû être hospitalisée et ne rentrera pas. Elle est passée par des moments de solitude assez difficiles mais n en garde aucune séquelle. C est une chienne bien dans ses pattes, légèrement dominante. Foyer recherchéNotre gentille Leia aurait besoin de trouver un foyer présent et dynamique, sans chats, car malgré ses 9 ans elle a une énergie débordante. Un copain chien plutôt soumis lui conviendrait parfaitement. Elle serait heureuse de courir à vos côtés, ou même de faire du canicross. Il vaudrait mieux éviter de trop longues absences car elle n est pas habituée. De jeunes retraités actifs serait un foyer idéal.
