Leire y Lilo

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Leire and Lilo, a mum and her little one who deserve to find a home. 💗 Leire arrived at Triple A whilst still very young, frightened and with her newborn kittens. She did everything she could to raise her litter, but sadly, three of her kittens did not survive. Only Lilo, a beautiful black kitten, managed to pull through. Now, Leire shares a room with other cats, with whom she is sociable and gets on well. She is an affectionate little cat, although she remains a touch shy. You need to approach her gently, without any sudden movements, so that she feels safe. Once she’s at ease, she enjoys being stroked and appreciates human contact. Her son Lilo is an affectionate, playful and lively little kitten. He enjoys company and is ready to fill the home that takes him in with joy. Both have been through a difficult time and now deserve the chance to experience family life, surrounded by love and security. We’d love for them to find a home together, although the most important thing is that each of them has the chance to be happy and loved. Lilo is currently in a foster home, so he can be adopted on his own without Leire. Would you like to give Leire and Lilo a chance? 🐾 🏡 To ensure their safety, it is essential that windows and balconies have appropriate safety measures in place before adoption. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Leire y Lilo

What life with Leire y Lilo looks like

Leire y Lilo is a small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Leire y Lilo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Leire y Lilo?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Leire y Lilo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Leire y Lilo if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Leire y Lilo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Leire y Lilo isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Leire y Lilo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
