Lejlan

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Raised in a family environment with children, Lejlan is comfortable around people and thrives on affection. She loves being close, whether that means curling up beside you on the sofa, nestling in during a quiet moment, or offering soft purrs as a thank you for a gentle stroke. Her affectionate nature isn’t demanding, it’s warm and reassuring, the kind that makes you feel chosen. Lejlan’s world changed when her family moved abroad and she, along with her brother, was returned. Despite this upheaval, she has remained loving, patiently waiting for someone who will give her the stability and forever home she truly deserves. Lejlan is part of a bonded pair with her brother Lilop, and their relationship is a beautiful one. They comfort each other, play together and often fall asleep wrapped in each other’s presence. Lejlan draws confidence from having her brother close, and together they create a perfect balance of playfulness and calm, doubling the love and joy they bring into a home. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will fill your days with warmth and you’re open to welcoming a bonded pair then Lejlan is ready to give her whole heart to the family that chooses her.

About Lejlan

What life with Lejlan looks like

Lejlan is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Amospet in Skopje.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇲🇰Adopting from North Macedonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lejlan, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lejlan?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Amospet handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lejlan on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lejlan if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Amospet will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Lejlan already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lejlan isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Amospet early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lejlan and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
