She had completely withdrawn and had not allowed anyone to approach her. However, she has now adapted well. With familiar people, she is cuddly, open, and cheerful. With strangers, she needs time to warm up, and it takes 2-3 visits for her to warm up to new people. Fortunately, she is very easy to win over with food. She walks well on a leash with the familiar people, but she is not particularly interested in other dogs. Due to Lela's reserve with strangers, a certain territorial behavior should be expected. Strangers in front of the kennel are also sometimes growled at. Once she knows the people, however, it is no longer a problem. As a senior, Lela unfortunately does not hear or see as well as before and has the occasional health issue. Sie hatte sich komplett zurückgezogen und niemanden an sich heran gelassen.Mittlerweile hat sie sich aber gut eingewöhnt. Bei vertrauten Personen ist sie verschmust, aufgeschlossen und fröhlich. Mit Fremden muss sie erstmal warm werden und es dauert 2-3 Besuche, bis sie mit neuen Personen warm wird. Gut, dass sie mit Futter seeehr bestechlich ist.An der Leine geht sie mit den vertrauen Personen gut mit, andere Hunde interessieren sie nicht sonderlich.Grade aufgrund Lelas Reserviertheit bei Fremden, sollte mit einem gewissen Territorialtrieb gerechnet werden. Fremde vor dem Zwinger werden durchaus auch mal angeknurrt. Sobald sie aber die Menschen kennt, ist es kein Problem mehr.Als Seniorin hört und sieht Lela leider nicht mehr so gut und hat das ein oder andere Zipperlein.Es wäre natürlich toll, hier neue Herrchen und/oder Frauchen mit Erfahrung zu finden, die mit uns gemeinsam an der Bindung arbeiten, damit sie ihren Lebensabend nicht im Tierheim verbringen muss.
