RESERVIERT-Lemon

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 6 months

Hello! My name is Lemon. I came to the St. Pölten animal shelter as part of an official inspection and am now looking for a new home. I’m a friendly, approachable, and lively young dog. I already walk quite nicely on the leash and explore my surroundings with great curiosity. Due to my young age, there’s still a lot for me to learn, but I’m an open and eager-to-learn girl, ready to stick by my people through thick and thin. I get along well with other dogs, though at first I tend to feel a bit nervous around larger dogs and would like to be introduced to them gradually. From a health perspective, I appear completely healthy and unremarkable. I’m looking for a home with loving people who have plenty of time to show a young dog like me all the joys of life. As a breed-specific characteristic, I’m rather active and would love to go on outings and hikes in the future—there’s absolutely nothing “couch potato” about me! Children should be a bit older, and it would be great if you already had a dog living with you. Would you like to get to know me? Then please get in touch! Your Lemon

Dann bitte melden!Deine Lemon

About RESERVIERT-Lemon

What life with RESERVIERT-Lemon looks like

RESERVIERT-Lemon is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein St. Pölten in St. Pölten.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇦🇹Adopting from Austria

Austrian shelters follow the federal Tierschutzgesetz framework: adopters sign a Schutzvertrag (protection contract) committing to the animal's welfare. Spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations are included; fees typically range €150–€350.

Frequently asked

Adopting RESERVIERT-Lemon, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about RESERVIERT-Lemon?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein St. Pölten handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw RESERVIERT-Lemon on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt RESERVIERT-Lemon if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein St. Pölten will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is RESERVIERT-Lemon already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if RESERVIERT-Lemon isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein St. Pölten early rather than rehoming privately; they know RESERVIERT-Lemon and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
