Adopt Lencsi-7

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 10 months

Native Country: Hungary Heartwarming Lencsi is also a resident of Menhely’s. She arrived at the animal shelter in Kecskemét from the neighboring community of Nagykörös on March 23, 2026. No chip, no one missed her… She probably wasn’t on the sunny side of life until now, and we want to change that as quickly as possible. We are crossing our fingers that Lencsi will soon win her ticket to happiness and be able to make up for all that she missed. Fortunately, she has weathered her involuntary "adventure" unscathed and remains a loving, curious, playful, happy, agile, and well-behaved puppy, even if new situations can sometimes intimidate her, which is completely normal, as there is still so much to learn and discover, for Lencsi is still very green behind the ears. She looks forward to attention and affection from the animal shelter staff and would like more of it. She is a small jewel that now needs to be lovingly shaped. She brings all the prerequisites to be a wonderful and loyal companion who will stick with her people through thick and thin. Of course, her new people should be aware that a young puppy is both labor- and time-intensive, but also brings a lot of joy and fun, but clear rules are needed. Lencsi gets along well with her fellow animals and lives in a group of young puppies. For our beloved heartbreaker Lencsi, we are looking for loving and adventure-loving two-leggeds who will welcome her forever. On her daily program should be: varied and exciting walks, age- and dog-appropriate mental stimulation and exhaustion, play, fun, enough quiet phases, lots of snuggling, cuddling, and many wonderful, shared experiences. A visit to a puppy school would definitely bring her a lot of joy. Lencsi brings a lot of love and friends into her new home. Who will enter a lifelong friendship with Lencsi? She will still grow a few more centimeters and probably gain a bit of weight. Lencsi can travel starting around mid/end of May 2026, if she finds a home or a foster home.

About Lencsi-7

What life with Lencsi-7 looks like

Lencsi-7 is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lencsi-7, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lencsi-7?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lencsi-7 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lencsi-7 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lencsi-7 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lencsi-7 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lencsi-7 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
