Lennox

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Mixed-breed Lennox – who falls in love with the little guy? Lennox was recently taken in by our Bulgarian animal welfare colleagues at the shelter. But the young male wants a home where he can finally arrive. Lennox has so far shown himself to be uncomplicated, playful and very social. He meets people and other dogs friendly and openly. For his future home, we wish for people who bring time and patience and give him the opportunity to arrive at his own pace. Because of course, much will be new and strange for him at first and it will take some time until he finds his way. Lennox still needs to learn the little dog ABC: house training, being alone, driving in the car and all the other things that belong to a harmonious coexistence are still foreign to him. But Lennox is eager to learn and will surely make rapid progress with loving, positive reinforcement. He wants to arrive, romp, be exhausted and of course enjoy a lot of cuddle moments. He would love to be very close to his people and finally belong. Who has the necessary time and patience to welcome Lennox, is aware that a dog is a loyal companion for many years, could find the right little guy in Lennox. Who falls in love with Lennox? Adopting a shelter dog always means taking on a special responsibility and can also become a challenge. The dogs bring a backpack with past experiences or unlearned situations and need time to settle into their new life. If you are seriously interested in adopting Lennox, please contact the responsible mediator of SALVA Hundehilfe. We would also be very happy to provide a foster home. Here's Lennox's video.

About Lennox

What life with Lennox looks like

Lennox is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lennox, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lennox?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lennox on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lennox if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lennox already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lennox isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lennox and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
