His story: Lev is a ca. 10 year old male dog whose gentle soul is marked by a harsh and sorrowful life. He was found in a pitiful state on a cemetery – his skin was bloody, covered in painful crusts, and in general poor condition. Despite this, Lev endures all of this with a remarkable calm and resignation that breaks the heart. Despite his past, Lev shows himself to be an incredibly gentle and loving dog, who just wants to finally find a home where he will be unconditionally accepted. Health-wise, Lev still has some challenges to overcome: His skin problems, which were likely caused by fleas or allergies, are currently being treated. Additionally, there are lipid deposits in his eyes, which may affect his vision but do not fully restrict him. Tests are currently being run to determine if Lev suffers from Cushing's disease. Lev is currently bathed weekly, and we hope that with the right care his condition will stabilize and his fur will grow back. He gets along well with other dogs, and he would also feel comfortable in a family with fellow animals. His compatibility with cats has not yet been tested. For Lev, we are searching for a quiet, loving home that will give him the time and care he so desperately needs. People with patience and a big heart will find in Lev a loyal and gentle companion who returns their love a thousandfold. Lev travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He possesses an EU pet passport and can be rehomed on a grace place after a positive Lev. Seine Geschichte: Lev ist ein ca. 10 Jahre alter Rüde, dessen sanfte Seele von einem schweren und traurigen Leben gezeichnet ist. Er wurde auf einem Friedhof in einem erbärmlichen Zustand gefunden – seine Haut war blutig, von schmerzhaften Krusten übersät und in einem allgemein schlechten Zustand. Trotzdem erträgt Lev all dies mit einer bemerkenswerten Ruhe und Resignation, die einem das Herz bricht. Trotz seiner Vergangenheit zeigt Lev sich als unglaublich sanfter und liebevoller Hund, der nichts mehr möchte, als endlich ein Zuhause zu finden, in dem er bedingungslos angenommen wird. Gesundheitlich hat Lev noch einige Herausforderungen zu bewältigen: Seine Hautprobleme, die vermutlich durch Milben oder Allergien verursacht wurden, werden aktuell behandelt. Zudem gibt es in seinen Augen Lipidablagerungen, die zwar seine Sicht beeinträchtigen können, ihn aber nicht vollständig einschränken. Aktuell laufen Tests, um abzuklären, ob Lev an Cushing leidet. Lev wird weiterhin wöchentlich gebadet, und wir hoffen, dass sich mit der richtigen Pflege sein Zustand stabilisiert und sein Fell nachwächst. Mit anderen Hunden versteht er sich gut, und auch in einer Familie mit Artgenossen würde er sich sicher wohlfühlen. Seine Verträglichkeit mit Katzen wurde bisher nicht getestet. Für Lev suchen wir ein ruhiges, liebevolles Zuhause, das ihm die Zeit und Fürsorge schenkt, die er so dringend benötigt. Menschen mit Geduld und einem großen Herzen werden in Lev einen treuen und sanften Begleiter finden, der ihre Liebe tausendfach zurückgibt. Lev reist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Er besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle in sein neues Zuhause ziehen.
