He’s currently staying at the cat hospital, where he’s receiving attentive care from veterinarians and undergoing a full diagnostic workup. The new environment presents quite a challenge for him. Libre is still reserved and cautious, and the shelter setting clearly overwhelms him. He needs time to get used to his surroundings and to realize that nothing poses a threat to him. He’ll thrive best with a patient caregiver who allows him to build his sense of security at his own pace. This is a sensitive kitten who today most urgently needs peace and stability. We believe that in a quiet, loving home, he’ll gradually gain confidence and each day will become more and more willing to open up to people. We’re looking for a forever loving home for Libre—a home where he’ll receive care, understanding, and the time he needs to build trust. We invite you to fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire and bring it with you when you visit the shelter.
