I’m currently in a foster home in 45711 Datteln. Liesa is still looking for the right permanent home. I, Liesa, have been in Germany—North Rhine-Westphalia, in the town of Datteln—since May 22nd. My foster family welcomed me, completely exhausted after the long journey from Mostar. As a livestock guardian dog mix, I have some very special traits. At first, I’m quite reserved and tend to observe for a long time—until I’ve fully assessed the situation. This requires a lot of patience from my people, lots and lots of patience. I don’t respond well to strict commands or orders. My foster family, which includes four cats, two girls aged 13 and 14, and their mom and dad, is doing a great job handling me. No wonder! After all, there’s already Fossy from Mostar—a livestock guardian dog mix just like me—who’s been living with the family for three years now. At first, Fossy treated me like an intruder. Things got pretty heated at times; there were even some feathers flying. But honestly, it didn’t really hurt me.

In einer Pflegestelle in 45711 Datteln. Liesa sucht noch eine passende Endstelle. Seit dem 22. Mai bin ich, Liesa, in Deutschland. Nordrhein-Westfalen, Stadt Datteln. Völlig erschöpft hat mich meine Pflegefamilie nach der langen Fahrt aus Mostar in Empfang genommen. So als Herdenschutzhundmix habe ich meine besonderen Eigenschaften. Bin erst mal sehr verschlossen und beobachte lange … bis ich die Situation einschätzen kann. Das verlangt von meinen Menschen Geduld, viel Geduld. Auf strenge Kommandos und Befehle reagiere ich nicht. Meine Pflegefamilie mit vier Katzen, zwei Mädchen (13 und 14 Jahre alt) und deren Mutter und Vater macht das schon ganz gut. Kein Wunder! Es gibt ja schon Fossy aus Mostar, Herdenschutzhundmix wie ich, der schon 3 Jahre in der Familie lebt. Hat mich in den ersten Tagen als Eindringling behandelt. Da ging es ordentlich zur Sache. Es flogen schon mal die Fetzen. Hat mir aber nicht wirklich weh getan.
