Lightspot oder Louloudi (Blume), wie sie bei unseren griechischen Freundinnen H. & I. hieß, war noch sehr jung und wurde erst am 18. Februar 2025 kastriert. Am 26. Juni 2025 schrieben unsere Freundinnen: „Lightspot erbricht blutigen Speichel und hat blutigen Durchfall. Sie frisst auch nichts mehr. Wir haben sie heute Morgen sofort nach Athen zur Tierärztin gesandt.“ (Normalerweise sprechen wir uns vorher ab, wenn eine Katze nicht zur Inseltierärztin, sondern nach Athen reisen soll. Aber hier konnten sie selbstverständlich nicht erst auf unsere Antwort warten!) Drei Tage darauf erfuhren wir von ihnen jedoch, dass Lightspot tags zuvor verstarb. Die Tierärztin berichtete uns folgendes: „Sie kam mit akutem blutigem Durchfall zu uns. Sie wurde sofort mit Antibiotika, blutstillenden Medikamenten, magenschützenden Medikamenten und Infusionen behandelt. Der durchgeführte Ultraschall zeigte, dass sie an einer schweren Darmentzündung litt.“ Lightspot or Louloudi (flower), as she was called by our Greek friends H. & I., was still very young and was neutered on February 18, 2025. The vet told us the following: „She came to us with acute bloody diarrhea. She was immediately treated with antibiotics, hemostatic medication, gastroprotective medication and infusions.
