LILI

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 6 years

LILI is a female mixed breed, born in February 2020, who came to the shelter because her family could no longer care for her and she spent her time alone in a small yard with little companionship. She doesn't deserve that and we are now trying to find her a family who wants to share their life with her. She would do well in a house with space and a garden... but most importantly, the time that can be dedicated to her, she only wants companionship. She has a good character, gets along well with other dogs, whether male or female, she seeks them out because she likes to feel accompanied. She is energetic but knows how to learn and walks very well, the only thing she doesn't get along with is cats, it wouldn't be advisable. She would be a great friend to the whole family, including children, as she was able to live with some and knows how to behave.

About LILI

What life with LILI looks like

LILI is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Naturaleza y Animales in Spain.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting LILI, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about LILI?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Naturaleza y Animales handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw LILI on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt LILI if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Naturaleza y Animales will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is LILI already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if LILI isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Naturaleza y Animales early rather than rehoming privately; they know LILI and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
