Lilli

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 5 months

Female dog – approx. 5 months old (as of October 2026) – approx. 38 cm Origin Lilli was found on the street together with her sister Nala. Unfortunately, we do not know what her past was like. All the more do we wish that a new chapter now begins for Lilli – with people who give her love, security, and a safe home. Character At first, Lilli is a little shy and reserved with unfamiliar people. After some time, however, this little female thaws out quickly and gladly accepts being petted. She is not a dog that rushes straight up to everyone, but one who first wants to earn trust. Lilli already knows life on a leash, as well as wearing a harness. Lilli is already used to cats and even enjoys cuddling with them very much. We are looking for a loving home for Lilli with patient people who give her security, do not overwhelm her, and give her the time she needs. Whoever wins her heart will hopefully gain a loyal companion with whom you can grow together and experience many beautiful moments. *We expressly point out that behaviors may change over time in a new environment. This should be taken into account with every adoption! Are you interested in Lilli? Then fill out our self-disclosure form right away. Self-disclosure adoption Self-disclosure foster placement

Selbstauskunft Adoption Selbstauskunft Pflegestelle

About Lilli

What life with Lilli looks like

Lilli is a small puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Kleine & große Pfoten e.V. in Germany (national, Bulgaria rescue focus).

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lilli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lilli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Kleine & große Pfoten e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lilli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lilli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Kleine & große Pfoten e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Lilli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lilli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Kleine & große Pfoten e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lilli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
