Hello there, I am Lilly and a rather old grandma cat with around 19 years. My whole life I have lived on the streets, and now in my old age, I would like a quiet home suitable for apartment living. I do not like other cats at all, so I would prefer to be a single cat. It would be important to me to have a cozy spot on the windowsill, because I love to look out the window. With people, I do not have much to do either. So it has improved since I have been in the animal shelter, and I gladly take treats from my favorite caretakers, but petting is still not my thing. As I (still?) am not the cuddly grandma and have some health issues, it will not be easy to find a new home 🙁 To that, I also have age-related kidney problems as well as the pancreas. That is why I get special food, which I find very tasty so far. Additionally, I get some plant-based food for my kidneys. We want to be honest with each other, and I am losing my feces where it finally comes out. And by the way, I am also a bit leaky, because since late October, a paralysis of my hind legs has shown up, and therefore, I am now also losing my urine. Hallo ihr, ich bin Lilly und ein schon eine kleine Oma mit ca. 19 Jahren. Mein leben lang habe ich auf der Straße gelebt und nun auf meine alten Tagen reicht mir ein ruhiges zu Hause in Wohnungshaltung. Andere Katzen mag ich so gar nicht, deshalb möchte ich gerne eine Einzelkatze sein. Wichtig wäre mir, das ich einen gemütlichen Platz auf der Fensterbank habe, denn ich liebe es aus dem Fenster zu schauen. Mit Menschen hab ich auch nicht so super viel am Hut. Also es ist seit ich hier im Tierheim bin schon besser geworden und ich nehme gerne Leckerchen aus der Hand von meinen Lieblingspflegern, aber streicheln ist noch nicht so meins. Da ich (noch?) nicht die verschmuste Oma bin und einige Baustellen habe, wird es nicht leicht ein neues zu Hause zu finden 🙁 Dazu kommt noch das ich alterstypisch mit den Nieren Probleme habe sowie Bauchspeicheldrüse. Deswegen bekomme ich spezielles Futter, was ich aber bisher ganz lecker finde. Zusätzlich bekomme ich was pflanzliches für meine Nieren. Wir wollen ja ehrlich miteinander sein, meinen Kot, sehr festen, verliere ich da wo es endlich raus kommt. Und naja, undicht bin ich auch, denn seit kurzem (Ende Oktober) hat sich eine Lähmung meiner Hinterbeine gezeigt und deshalb verliere ich jetzt auch meinen Urin. Hier versuchen wir gerade mit einem Medikament etwas zu unterstützen. So jetzt wisst ihr so ziemlich alles über mich und ich hoffe meinen sechser im Lotto noch zu finden.
