Vermittlungshilfe für Valko

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 14 years

Valko urgently needs a new home!! His owner has passed away and Frauchen is no longer capable of caring for him due to health reasons. We do not know how much longer Frauchen will live. Valko, born on 15.10.2012 in Waterloo, is registered in the SV-Zuchtbuch under number 2288007. Generally, he gets along well with other dogs (except for some specific animosities with a few dogs), it is not known how he reacts to cats; he is also friendly towards people and children; however, he lacks practical experience with small children. He is unneutered and has all his papers. He loves playing with a ball and knows all basic commands. He also knows how to run alongside a bicycle, but age-wise, one should proceed with caution. Currently, Valko is in Darmstadt Arheilgen. Serious interested parties: Email:. Some symptoms here are age-related.

About Vermittlungshilfe für Valko

What life with Vermittlungshilfe für Valko looks like

Vermittlungshilfe für Valko is a small senior mixed breed cat waiting at Tierheim Nied (TSV Schwalbach & Frankfurt-West) in Frankfurt.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vermittlungshilfe für Valko, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vermittlungshilfe für Valko?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Nied (TSV Schwalbach & Frankfurt-West) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vermittlungshilfe für Valko on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vermittlungshilfe für Valko if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Nied (TSV Schwalbach & Frankfurt-West) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vermittlungshilfe für Valko already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vermittlungshilfe für Valko isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Nied (TSV Schwalbach & Frankfurt-West) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vermittlungshilfe für Valko and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
