This breed is known for its intelligence, alertness, and strong work drive. Lilo has a confident manner and sometimes acts like the boss. She is not entirely trusting and does not like to be picked up much, which is typical of her strong character. Malinois are extremely active dogs that need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Their territoriality is already evident in their behavior: they growl like a large dog when someone walks past their kennel. These characteristics make them excellent guard dogs, but they also require consistent training. We are looking for experienced dog people who know what they are getting into. A home that can provide her with the necessary training and socialization is crucial.
