Adopt Lily 2

Female · Puppy · 1 month

Age: 1 year (*1.10.2024) Weight: 23 kg Lili is a young female dog who was accepted into our shelter two months ago by agreement from shelter Bouchalka. She is timid but also very kind - she never bit and initially was afraid of everything new, always obedient to us. In two months with us she has made tremendous progress. In the run, she doesn't destroy anything. She likes to play with an empty food bowl, which she often takes and hides in the hut. She reacts well to other dogs, so living together should not be a problem - of course we recommend individual testing. She knows how to walk on a leash, but she is still startled by new stimuli. An ideal home for her would be a quieter environment, definitely not a busy city. We are looking for an experienced person who knows what it means to work with an unsocialized dog, who can help her gradually discover the world and give her confidence. She has great potential - she just needs to gain a little self-confidence. If Lili has caught your attention, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and we will get back to you.

Pokud vás Lili zaujala, prosíme o vyplnění adopčního dotazníku a my vás budeme zpětně kontaktovat.

About Lily 2

What life with Lily 2 looks like

Lily 2 is a medium-sized puppy/kitten dog waiting at Útulek Dogsy in Czech Republic.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇿Adopting from Czech Republic

Czech shelters (útulky) include sterilization, vaccinations, and microchip ID. The adopter signs a written contract (smlouva) — the shelter may follow up to verify wellbeing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lily 2, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lily 2?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Útulek Dogsy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lily 2 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lily 2 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Útulek Dogsy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lily 2 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lily 2 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Útulek Dogsy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lily 2 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CS). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
