Adopt Little Foot

Male · Baby

Name: Little Foot ♥ Breed: Guinea Pig Date of Birth: 25.01.2026 Little Foot is one of Toffee's boys and has now grown into a real big guy. The curious and lively young guinea pig guy always watches carefully what the funny humans are doing in his enclosure. Like a true teenager, Little Foot likes to test boundaries and is full of energy and explorer joy. He brings a good dose of self-confidence with him and wants to mix in everywhere. At the moment, he lives together with his brother Theo. The two could easily imagine continuing their life as a real boys' flat together – although Little Foot would probably like to be just a nose length ahead when it comes to self-confidence. Of course, he could also join an existing group or a suitable partner. For Little Foot, the most important thing is: as long as there's plenty of space for running, hiding, exploring, and of course for gossiping! Who could give this charming young fellow a loving home?

About Little Foot

What life with Little Foot looks like

Little Foot is a small puppy/kitten animal waiting at Tierschutzverein Pfungstadt und Umgebung e.V in Pfungstadt.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Little Foot far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Little Foot, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Little Foot?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Pfungstadt und Umgebung e.V handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Little Foot on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Little Foot if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Pfungstadt und Umgebung e.V will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Little Foot already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Little Foot isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Pfungstadt und Umgebung e.V early rather than rehoming privately; they know Little Foot and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
