Logan

Maltese · Male · Young · 3 years

26-08-26 Logan is a wonderful little guy who has come to us from a breeder and is such a happy, enthusiastic boy! He gets so excited to see you and will even happily give you kisses to show you just how pleased he is to have some attention. Logan absolutely adores fuss and loves being around people. He is an active and curious boy who is keen to explore the world around him and would love a home filled with fun, excitement and plenty of adventures. Logan is confident enough that we would consider homing him as an only dog as long as his adopters had plenty of time to spend with him. He would also be more than happy to share his home with another kind resident dog who would be his friend. Logan has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be kind and patient as he learns everything from house training to the routines of family life. He can live with older, dog-savvy children who are sensible and will understand that Logan may need some time to settle in and get used to his new environment. Logan is a fantastic little guy with so much personality and enthusiasm for life. We think he will absolutely love home life and are sure that with the right family, he will continue to grow in confidence and become a wonderful companion. Logan has arrived with mild bilateral watery discharge likely chronic that he has received treatment for, and a Grade 2 luxating patella that may improve with gentle exercise. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.

About Logan

What life with Logan looks like

Logan is a young adult maltese dog waiting at Many Tears Animal Rescue in Llanelli.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Logan, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Logan?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Logan on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Logan if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Many Tears Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Logan already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Logan isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Logan and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
