Loki

Mixed Breed · Male

Loki arrived at the shelter on August 20, 2026. How is it possible that such a wonderful little one ended up on the streets and was condemned to homelessness? Unfortunately, we don't know. What we do know is that Loki is a beautiful, young terrier-type dog who desperately needs a human and a loving home. Loki is small, cute, cheerful, and full of energy. He is currently trying to find his place in the completely new, shelter reality, but despite this, he remains a brave little dog with an extremely friendly disposition. He likes people, including children, and gets along well with other dogs. On walks, he shows how great a companion he can be. He walks nicely and is happy to greet the dogs he meets. He is attentive to humans and often looks at them during walks, as if he wants to make sure his owner is still there. Loki is energetic and loves to play, but above all, he is a cheerful, outgoing, and very friendly dog who has a lot of charm. It's hard to believe that such a small, wonderful dog instead of his own bed and a loving family ended up behind shelter bars... Loki is a dog with great potential who can easily live with a nice, loving family.

PL·Show original

Loki trafił do schroniska 20 sierpnia 2026 roku.

About Loki

What life with Loki looks like

Loki is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Loki, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Loki?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Loki on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Loki if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Loki already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Loki isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku early rather than rehoming privately; they know Loki and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
