Beatka

Mixed Breed · Male

Beatka is looking for a temporary home near Milanówka/Warsaw! Beatka was born in August 2025. As befits a puppy - she is full of energy and joy. She is extremely open towards people - she loves human company, and contact and closeness bring her great pleasure. Beatka quickly learned how to walk on a leash. She copes well with city traffic, and when something disturbs her, she seeks support from a person. The girl copes well in interactions with other dogs: she is calm and not pushy. The "crazy puppy" mode activates only when another dog clearly invites her to play. The girl is looking for loving, warm, wise caregivers. Beatka is one of the several dogs that came to us in April 2026 as a result of an intervention. A court case is currently ongoing, in which the dogs were evidence. Therefore, until the court case ends, we are looking for only temporary homes for them. Due to the ongoing proceedings, we consider only foster families near Milanówka/Warsaw. Our standard adoption process applies.

Tryb "szalonego szczeniaka" włącza dopiero wtedy, gdy inny pies wyraźnie zaprosi ją do zabawy.

About Beatka

What life with Beatka looks like

Beatka is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Beatka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Beatka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Beatka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Beatka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Beatka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Beatka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt w Milanówku early rather than rehoming privately; they know Beatka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
