Lolita

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 9 months

Lolita is a cat who lived on the street for a long time, yet despite this past, she has retained a great openness towards humans. She is very affectionate and gladly establishes a relationship - she likes to be close to people and enjoys their presence. She loves being petted, although, as befits a cat with a character, everything must happen in moderation. When she feels that the caressing is enough, she can gently "nudge" with her paw - of course without claws - clearly communicating her boundaries. Lolita is a small, slightly chubby ball who, with her calmness and charm, can quickly gain affection. She is a cat who likes contact with humans, but also values her space and can clearly show what she needs at any given moment. Date of birth: ~12.2017 We inform you that each animal can be adopted virtually. For information on this, please contact by email ( or through the Facebook profile: ) More information about the animal can be obtained by contacting the animal shelter office at number Adoption of a dog requires an ID, leash and collar. Adoption of a cat requires an ID and a carrier. All dogs and cats are microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated against infectious diseases. Dogs are also vaccinated against rabies. Adult animals can go to a new home after the neutering/spaying procedure. Puppies/kittens leave the animal shelter without the procedure, but have a free spaying/neutering procedure ensured at the appropriate age. The age of the dog/cat is determined based on the condition of the teeth and general appearance, so it should be treated as an approximate value. Adoption is free. There is an option for transport - WARSAW, KRAKOW, WROCLAW, POZNAN, KATOWICE, LODZ, LUBLIN or other cities upon agreement. About Lolita

What life with Lolita looks like

Lolita is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lolita, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lolita?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lolita on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lolita if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lolita already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lolita isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lolita and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
