adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Lollipop has found a home! Her story: The attention of a loving lady saved Kim, Nicky, Antonia, Basel, and Lollipop's lives. The woman regularly fed "Morla," the mother of the 5 puppies. She noticed that Morla had swollen teats and suspected that she had given birth and the puppies must be hidden nearby. She went in search and found the 5 in a defective well. Morla had raised them as best she could. The lady immediately contacted our local helpers, and the young family was brought to safety. At Lollipop, the name is the program. With her sweet gaze, her pretty fur pattern, and her scruffy hair, she captures everyone's heart and behaves simply daintily sweet. With her lively and cheerful nature, she brings joy to life and loves to discover new things. Lollipop is an open and playful puppy who is always ready for a new adventure. She enjoys it very much when she gets the chance to play outdoors and frolic around. Lollipop shows her affection to people and enjoys every form of attention and affection. Even in dealing with other dogs, she shows herself to be social and compatible. Her friendly nature makes Lollipop a wonderful companion who will surely win the heart of her new family quickly. Lollipop is currently around 3.5 months old and will grow to be small to medium-sized. Her mother Morla is only about 30 cm tall. Her new family should also be aware that Lollipop has not yet experienced life in a loving family. She still needs to learn the whole puppy ABC and puberty is still ahead of her. Here, she needs people who approach with much love and patience, and may also need to attend positive dog training classes with her and forgive her one or two mishaps. Leash walking, house training, and being left alone are still foreign words to her. During puberty, she will surely test boundaries and perhaps even "forget" some things she has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Lollipop will definitely become a great lifelong partner. We hope so much that she now gets to experience the beautiful sides of life and learns that there are people who only want the best for her. Lollipop is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She brings an EU pet passport with her and can be adopted after a positive foster home experience. We would also be very happy to have a foster home for the sweet mouse! Who will give her a loving forever home? Lollipop received her name from an anonymous donor. We thank you very much! As of: 10.06.

Stand: 10.06.2024

About Lollipop

What life with Lollipop looks like

Lollipop is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lollipop, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lollipop?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lollipop on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lollipop if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lollipop already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lollipop isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lollipop and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
