Since our last visit in May 2025, Loona has significantly declined. Her eye is also severely inflamed. She has become very thin, and her muscle mass has almost disappeared. Although she cautiously ate a few treats from the ground, her gaze appeared weary, empty, and resigned – as if she had lost hope for a better future. Loona urgently needs help. With winter approaching in Romania, she will likely not survive the harsh conditions there. She should be allowed to travel as soon as possible to a warm home or a loving foster home where she can finally rest. —————— Update May 2025: Loona has continued to significantly decline since our last visit in May 2024. She has become very thin and has almost no muscle mass. She ate treats from the ground, but she appeared tired and resigned. Loona should be allowed to travel soon. She may not survive the harsh winter in Romania. ———— Update May 2024: Loona appears weary and resigned. She eagerly ate treats from the ground but would not take them directly from our hand. If Loona must spend the rest of her life in the shelter, or if she might be seen by a new home, we sincerely hope for the kind and reserved Loona. ———– Update May 2023: Loona was interested in us but still would not let us handle her. Seit unserem letzten Besuch im Mai 2025 hat LOONA stark abgebaut. Auch ihr Auge ist stark entzündet.Sie ist dünn geworden, ihre Muskulatur hat sie fast vollständig verloren. Zwar nahm sie vorsichtig ein paar Leckerlis vom Boden, doch ihr Blick wirkte müde, leer und resigniert – als hätte sie den Glauben an eine bessere Zukunft verloren. LOONA braucht jetzt dringend Hilfe. In Rumänien steht der Winter bevor, und in ihrem geschwächten Zustand wird sie ihn dort vermutlich nicht überstehen. Sie sollte so schnell wie möglich ausreisen dürfen – in ein warmes Zuhause oder eine liebevolle Pflegestelle, wo sie endlich zur Ruhe kommen kann. —————— Update Mai 2025: LOONA hat seit unserem letzten Besuch im Mai 2024 weiter stark abgebaut. Leckerlis nahm sie gern vom Boden, aber direkt aus der Hand nehmen, wollte sie sie nicht. Wird LOONA auch ihr restliches Leben noch im Shelter verbringen müssen, oder wird sie vielleicht doch noch gesehen? Wir wünschen es der freundlichen und zurückhaltenden LOONA wirklich sehr. ———– UPDATE Mai 2023: LOONA war interessiert an uns, ließ sich aber immer noch nicht anfassen. Sie nahm gut Leckerchen und kam in unsere Nähe. LOONA ist schon etwas älter und erwartet nicht mehr viel, auf einer erfahrenen Stelle würde sie sicher schnell auftauen. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt. Wichtige Dokumente:Selbstauskunft für AdoptantenSelbstauskunft für Pflegestellen *Die Angaben zu den Hunden (insbesondere den Hunden, die noch in Rumänien sind) erfolgen ohne Gewähr.
