Lottie came to Farplace from a cat colony in South Wales at the beginning of 2023, when she was estimated to be around two years old. We don’t know her exact date of birth. She’s a very sweet and gentle girl who can be quite shy at first, but once she’s had time to get used to you, she is much more open to human contact and does enjoy a good stroke. She gets a lot of confidence from her feline friends and is much more relaxed when they’re around. Lottie is one of our barn cats, along with Rosie, Luci and Daphne. We’d really like to keep these cats in pairs where possible, as they’ve lived together for a long time and have formed lovely bonds. We’d therefore particularly love Lottie to go home with one of her existing friends. She could potentially live with another calm, friendly cat following slow and careful introductions, but keeping her with one of her current friends would be our preference. Lottie will need a quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She may take a little while to show you her full personality, but once she feels safe and confident, we think she has the potential to become a wonderfully affectionate companion. Lottie needs an indoor-only home. A secure catio or enclosed garden would be a lovely bonus, but isn’t essential. As with all of our cats, Lottie will leave Farplace spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, with her flea and worm treatment up to date, and following a full health check. We’ll also provide you with a full copy of her veterinary records to keep for your own records when she goes off to her new home. Indoor-only policy If you feel you could offer this lovely cat the right home, please email for an adoption questionnaire. We can then arrange a home check. We are happy to consider homes up to around two hours’ travel from the rescue. Any further than this can make it difficult for us to offer the support we feel is important after adoption.
