Louis is urgently seeking a new loving home. His family, with heavy hearts, has to part ways with him because their work requires them to travel frequently, and they no longer have enough time to meet Louis's needs. This causes Louis a lot of distress, as all he wants is to be with his people. Louis is an 8 1/2 year old Romanian herding dog-wolf dog mixed breed, about 60 cm tall, neutered, and microchipped. His fur is very thick, and he loves to be brushed every day. Unfortunately, he does not get along well with other animals. He also lacks trust in strangers due to past negative experiences. Once he trusts people, he becomes very affectionate and allows himself to be petted, scratched, combed, and even his ears cleaned. He does not like water at all. Walking with him is a matter of trust. If he walks a regular route, it is no longer a problem. A leash should initially be kept short, and a muzzle is mandatory for him outdoors. He has a prey drive. Louis is healthy, regularly vaccinated, and behaves very calmly and relaxed at the vet. Louis enjoys playing and prefers to be with his family, whom he loves dearly and, due to his breed, wants to protect. Therefore, he should be the only dog in a home with people who have experience with dogs and the breed, and who can spend plenty of time with him and keep him adequately occupied, which is very important to him. Louis sucht ganz dringend ein neues liebevolles Zuhause. Seine Familie muss sich schweren Herzens von ihm trennen, da man beruflich bedingt viel unterwegs ist und nicht mehr ausreichend Zeit für Louis hat, um seinen Bedürfnissen gerecht zu werden. Darunter leidet Louis sehr, denn er möchte nichts lieber als bei seinen Menschen sein Louis ist ein 8 1/2 Jahre alter rumänischer Hütehund-Wolfshund Mischling, ca 60 cm groß, kastriert und gechippt. Sein Fell ist sehr dick und er liebt es, jeden Tag gebürstet zu werden. Leider kommt er nicht gut mit anderen Tieren zurecht. Und auch zu fremden Menschen hat er kein Vertrauen, da er in seiner Vergangenheit schlechte Erfahrungen sammeln musste. Wenn er das Vertrauen zu den Menschen gefunden hat, ist er sehr zutraulich und lässt sich auch streicheln, kraulen, kämmen und auch Ohren sauber machen. Wasser mag er gar nicht. Spazieren gehen ist bei ihm Vertrauenssache. Wenn er den Weg regelmäßig läuft ist das kein Problem mehr. Leine sollte erst kurz gehalten werden und Maulkorb ist draußen Pflicht bei ihm. Jagdtrieb ist vorhanden. Louis ist gesund, wurde regelmäßig geimpft und beim Tierarzt verhält er sich total ruhig und relaxt. Louis spielt gerne und am liebsten ist er bei seiner Familie, die er sehr liebt und rassebedingt auch beschützen möchte. Deshalb sollte er als Einzelhund zu Menschen mit Hunde- und Rasseerfahrung, die viel Zeit für ihn haben und ihn ausreichend beschäftigen können, was für ihn sehr wichtig ist.
