Lucy was entrusted to us after she arrived as a stray dog at our shelter in early April, as her owners no longer wanted her. She originally came from Romania and is six years old. Initially very shy and confused, Lucy quickly realized that things weren’t so bad here and that she could trust and be a dog. She now enjoys going for walks and is much more outgoing than she was on her first few days at the shelter. When around strangers and new situations, Lucy is insecure, but if she knows someone, she is very clingy, likes to snuggle, and runs around with her toy excitedly, wiggling her whole rear in joy and excitement. Towards other dogs, she is not yet so positive. We suspect that she has had little contact with fellow animals so far, but she can definitely learn to be more social. Lucy is truly a wonderful and very loving female dog and will be a great companion for her new family – get to know and love her during a shared walk!

Lucy wurde uns übereignet, nachdem sie Anfang April als Fundhund bei uns landete, weil ihre Besitzer sie nicht mehr wollten. Sie kommt ursprünglich aus Rumänien und ist sechs Jahre alt. Anfänglich sehr eingeschüchtert und durcheinander, merkte Lucy schnell, dass es bei uns gar nicht so schlecht ist und sie ruhig Vertrauen fassen und Hund sein darf. Sie geht mittlerweile gern spazieren und ist viel aufgeschlossener als in ihren ersten Tierheimtagen. Bei fremden Menschen und Situationen verhält sich Lucy unsicher, doch wenn sie jemanden kennt, ist sie sehr anhänglich, kuschelt gern und flitzt mit ihrem Spielzeug ausgelassen im Auslauf herum. Da wackelt das ganze Hinterteil vor Freude und Vergnügen. Anderen Hunden gegenüber verhält sie sich noch nicht so positiv. Wir vermuten, dass sie bisher wenig Kontakt zu Artgenossen hatte, aber das kann sie bestimmt noch lernen. Lucy ist wirklich eine tolle und sehr liebe Hündin und wird ihrer neuen Familie eine super Begleiterin werden – lernt sie bei einem gemeinsamen Spaziergang kennen und lieben!
