Hello, dear friends—I’m Lucy—or as they say here, Queen Lucy. And naturally, a queen deserves to be treated like the real deal. My subjects need to know exactly when it’s time for meals and when my litter box needs cleaning. Especially when it’s time for wet food, I’ll personally stand right there to make sure everything is served just perfectly. As the queen of the house, I simply can’t stand other cats—not even remotely. Give me a beautiful castle all to myself, where my staff can snuggle comfortably around my paws. I absolutely love cuddling and being petted—how delightful I find that! But beware: once I’ve had enough, I really mean it. Don’t listen? Well… you can expect a royal tap then—not meant to be mean, mind you, but a true queen just loves clear rules. I also love lounging outside in the sun in my cat enclosure. It’s heavenly to soak up those sunny rays while keeping a close eye on everything—just like a real queen would do. Of course, my gorgeous long fur deserves plenty of attention too. Combing it isn’t exactly my favorite pastime, so every now and then you’ll have to take me to the vet for a nice trim. Besides, my suitcase is already packed, and I’m just waiting for my very own little palace. So... what are you waiting for? Hallo lieve mensen, ik ben Lucy — oftewel zoals ze hier zeggen: Koningin Lucy.En een koningin hoort natuurlijk ook als een echte Queen behandeld te worden. Mijn onderdanen moeten precies weten wanneer het tijd is voor eten én wanneer mijn kattenbak schoongemaakt moet worden. Vooral als het tijd is voor natvoer, dan sta ik er natuurlijk persoonlijk naast om te controleren of alles wel netjes wordt geserveerd. Als koningin van het huis houd ik helemaal niet van andere katten. Nee hoor, dat is niks voor mij. Geef mij maar een mooi kasteel helemaal voor mezelf, waar ik mijn personeel gezellig om mijn pootjes kan winden. Ik houd ontzettend van knuffelen en kroelen — heerlijk vind ik dat! Maar let op: als ik er klaar mee ben, dan ben ik er ook écht klaar mee. Luister je niet? Tja… dan kun je een koninklijk tikje verwachten. Niet gemeen bedoeld hoor, maar een echte Queen houdt nu eenmaal van duidelijke regels.Ook lig ik graag lekker buiten in de zon in een kattenren. Heerlijk genieten van het zonnetje en ondertussen alles goed in de gaten houden — precies zoals een echte koningin dat doet. Mijn prachtige lange vacht verdient natuurlijk ook de nodige aandacht. Kammen is alleen niet echt mijn hobby, dus af en toe zul je met mij een bezoekje moeten brengen aan de dierenarts om mij netjes te laten scheren. Verder staat mijn koffertje al klaar en wacht ik alleen nog op mijn eigen paleisje. Dus… waar wacht je nog op? Vul dat adoptieformulier maar snel in, voordat deze koningin straks door iemand anders wordt geclaimd!
