Date of birth: January 2016, Lucy, for friend Lucyna, she is about 9 years old, a medium-sized female dog. She reaches her shoulder, weighs 24 kg, is lean, agile, and sprightly. She has short fur and not much undercoat. We don't know exactly what happened to her in life, but the scars on her body suggest that it wasn't easy. Lucyna is assertive and talkative. She likes to yap about everything that pleases or annoys her. She sometimes looks a little menacing, but it's just an act :). In reality, she is well-cared for, cuddly, and happy. She is fully energetic and strong, loves to spend time running wild at the park, running and playing with a stick or tug toy. She loves water, swims almost like an Olympian. She is always eager for a walk, doesn't like to be on a leash, doesn't bother passersby, cyclists, runners, children, etc. She also gets along much better with other dogs when properly introduced. We are looking for a warm, stable home and a responsible, balanced caregiver for Lucy. Lucy is intelligent, can adapt to new conditions, but due to her previous life, full of changes and uncertainty, she needs a little patience and understanding. She doesn't like to be left alone, she gets stressed that she will be abandoned again. She expresses her dissatisfaction with barking. When emotions subside, she is willing to work with the caregiver, there is time for treats. Although initially she may seem rather independent, she is very attached to humans, seeks contact and affection. The preferred home is one without children and other domestic animals. She may be able to live with another dog of similar size (to be verified during an introductory walk and pre-adoption visit). She will not be released for straying, breeding, or kennel run. We reserve the right to choose the best home. She has been neutered, declawed, vaccinated, and spayed. A pre-adoption visit, an introductory walk, signing the shelter agreement, and payment of the adoption fee (80zł) are required. To adopt a dog, you must have a leash and collar. This animal is not suitable for homes with children. This animal is for adult-only homes.

W schronisku od 20.03.2025. Interwencja NND, Będzin Dworzec. ADOPCJA PO KONSULTACJI WETERYNARYJNEJ Data urodzenia: styczeń 2016 Lucy, dla przyjaciół Lucyna, to ok. 9-letnia suczka średniej wielkości. Sięga do kolana, waży 24 kg, jest szczupła, sprawna i skoczna. Ma krótką sierść i niewiele podszerstka. Nie wiemy, co dokładnie przydarzyło jej się w życiu, ale po bliznach na jej ciele podejrzewamy, że bywało ciężko. Lucyna jest rezolutną i wygadaną dziewczyną. Lubi sobie poszczekać o wszystkim, co ją cieszy lub denerwuje. Zdarza jej się wyglądać przez to trochę groźnie, ale to tylko pozory :) Tak naprawdę jest przekochana, przytulaśna i radosna. Jest całkiem energiczna i silna, uwielbia spędzać czas szalejąc na wybiegu, biegając i bawiąc się piłką czy szarpakiem. Kocha wodę, pływa prawie jak olimpijka. Zawsze chętna na spacer, ładnie chodzi na smyczy, nie zaczepia przechodniów, rowerzystów, biegaczy, dzieci itp. Również z innymi psami odpowiednio poprowadzona mija się już o wiele lepiej. Szukamy dla Lucy ciepłego, stabilnego domu i odpowiedzialnego, zrównoważonego opiekuna. Lucy jest inteligentna, potrafi dostosować się do nowych warunków, ale przez dotychczasowe życie, pełne zmian i niepewności, potrzebuje nieco cierpliwości i wyrozumiałości. Nie lubi zostawać sama, stresuje się, że kolejny raz zostanie porzucona. Niezadowolenie wyraża szczekaniem. Gdy emocje już opadną, chętnie współpracuje z opiekunem, jest łasa na smakołyki. Choć początkowo wydaje się raczej niezależna, bardzo przywiązuje się do człowieka, szuka kontaktu i czułości. Preferowany dom bez dzieci, a także innych zwierząt domowych. Ewentualnie być może mogłaby zamieszkać z drugim psem podobnej wielkości (do zweryfikowania na spacerze zapoznawczym i wizycie przedadopcyjnej). Nie zostanie wydana do stróżowania/budy/kojca. Zastrzegamy sobie prawo do wyboru najlepszego domu. Została odrobaczona, odpchlona, zaszczepiona, zachipowana oraz wysterylizowana. Obowiązuje wizyta przed i poadopcyjna, spacer zapoznawczy, podpisanie umowy schroniskowej i uiszczenie opłaty adopcyjnej (80zł). Aby adoptować psa, należy mieć smycz i obrożę.
